🎮 Designing Through Play
At Electronic Arts, I served as a Playtester—a critical bridge between the player experience and the development pipeline. My role involved immersive play sessions where I systematically identified bugs, glitches, and usability issues. But beyond spotting flaws, I focused on uncovering the why behind user frustration and the how of improving flow and delight.
I worked directly with game designers, developers, and QA teams to validate game updates, ensuring each iteration met or exceeded user expectations. Using structured feedback frameworks, I compiled detailed reports covering game mechanics, performance balance, and UI clarity, which directly influenced gameplay adjustments and feature refinement.

🧠 How This Shaped Me as a Product Designer
Learned to translate user experience into actionable feedback, sharpening my ability to advocate for users.
Developed a keen eye for interaction design nuances under fast, iterative environments—essential for building seamless digital products.
Strengthened my skills in cross-functional communication, collaborating across roles with different goals to deliver unified experiences.
This role taught me that great design isn't just built—it’s played, broken, fixed, and felt.
